Yue with Frog Design (Late Shang Period)

Unearthed in 1955 from Wulang Temple, Chenggu County, Shaanxi Province. This object was used as a weapon or an instrument of torture. There is a hollow-out grog in the centre. The ware features the bronzes made in the Ba-Shu Area (also called Sichuan).
